The arts are increasingly recognized for promoting learning in children. Early Childhood classes offer developmentally appropriate, process-oriented dance experiences for your child. NBB will facilitate learning through the arts, encouraging your child's natural gifts for knowledge while emphasizing the importance of the creative process and expression in dance.

Ballet Babies for 2 Year Olds (45 Minutes / 24-36 months)Ballet Babies

Toddlers get the opportunity to explore dance, movement and music on a traditional ballet studio setting. Using familiar and creative themes, stories and props. Your child will develop gross motor skills and learn creative self-expression.

Ballet Babies for 3 Year Olds  ( 1 Hr / 3 Years old before August 31st)

Our popular Ballet Babies class for the 3 year old child. Your child will be experience new themes, stories and props while building onto the student's social and emotional expression.

Ballet Stories (1 ½ Hrs / 3-6 Years old before August 31st)

Your child is invited to explore ballet through stories, movement, art, books, and video. Experimenting with role-playing and movement, and recreating favorite and famous ballet stories will enchant your child. A mini performance will be scheduled to share each story learned.

Tutu's & Tiara's (1 Hr / 4 Years old before August 31st)Tutus & Tiaras

A more structured class emphasizing ballet skills, steps and terminology while using creative imaginative roll playing, stories, rhymes and music. The student will begin to learn some barre and center work while using a variety of props.

Princes & Sugarplums (1 Hr / 5 Years old before August 31st and entering kindergarten)

A continuation of Tutu's & Tiara's with students learning more barre and center work and terminology while maintaining the creative use of props, stories and themes.
